With a focus on using only the finest ingredients, the culinary team at J. Hollinger’s, led by longtime restaurateur/caterer Chef Jerry Hollinger, gets its inspiration from what’s fresh and in season. From the Chesapeake Bay for local seafood to cattle farms in Texas for 100% certified Black Angus beef, and freshly harvested seasonal produce from Mennonite farms in Pennsylvania, our cuisine is easily adapted to the most elevated events or casual get-togethers.
Beyond the bold, fresh flavors, diners revel in the inviting ambiance of our modern-rustic dining room and horseshoe-shaped bar, each room adorned with original artwork by Silver Spring native and lauded artist, Nancy Freeman. Experience J. Hollinger’s split-level private dining. The Lower Dining Room is perfect for seated prix-fixe dinners, cocktail parties, catered receptions with passed hors d’oeuvres, and gourmet food stations, or a brunch buffet. With a seating capacity of 95 guests or 40 for standing receptions, this space allows for a range of events. Up two steps is the Upper Dining Room, where an more spacious setting accommodates up to 55 seated guests, providing an elevated dining experience or curated seated brunches.
